Joinder of causes of action and joinder of parties

Joinder applications have been a feature of practice. The consideration and application of Part 6, div 5 of the Uniform Civil Procedure Rules has been important in relevant proceedings. Whether it be joinder of causes of action or determining whether proceedings involve common questions of law or fact, this area has been a feature of practice.

Delautour v Vergome Pty Limited & Anor. (District Court of NSW, No. 10312 of 2000). This matter involved an application for the joinder of a party to proceedings and an application for an extension of the limitations period in which to commence proceedings.
