This Book was designed to complement the companion textbook book, John Gooley and Peter Radan, Principles of Australian Contract Law, 1st edition, 2006, LexisNexis Butterworths. The structure of the Cases and Materials Book was set out in the same format as the text book with detailed cross-referencing back to the textbook in appropriate places. The organisation of material under various contractual themes was designed to offer a standardised approach with respect to cases with that approach involving a description of the Court, the facts, the issue for determination and the decision. After that, selective extracts from the relevant judgments were provided with commentary in appropriate places by the authors.
